Ingredients
Server 4
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tbs. cocoa
  • 2 cups scalded milk
  • 1/2 cup espresso coffee
  • 2 tbs. rum
  • 4 oz. crushed macaroons

Preparation
In a mixer bowl, cream 1/3 cup sugar, 5 eggs and 1 tbs. cocoa.

Add 2 cups scalded milk, 1/2 cup espresso coffee, 2 tbs. rum, 4 oz. crushed macaroons and stir well.

Coat a pudding mould with 3 tbs. sugar and pour in the batte.

Set in a pan of hot water and bake in a moderate oven for about 40 minutes.

The word "ḅnet" means "cap" and refers to the shape of the most common pudding mould, that reminds of a typical XVIII century hat.
